FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I determine what size I need?

It is highly recommended that you set-up your pedals and take measurements. Click here for a step by step guide.

For visual reference, you can see several photos of set-up boards in the photo galleries.

Do the pedalboards have power supplies?

No. We believe that using a separate power supply provides the ultimate flexibility.

Do you ship to my location and how much will shipping cost?

We ship all over the world! Click here for shipping details.

What is the turnaround time for orders?

Because all NYC Cases are built to order, there is usually a brief wait period. Click here for current lead times.

Do you do rush orders?

No. All orders are built on a first come, first served basis, and all customers are treated with equal importance.

Can the lid close with pedals on the 2nd level?

Yes. The standard dimensions allow for 2.5" of clearance on top of the 2nd level, which is sufficient for the majority of pedals.

Can I add a 2nd level riser or a pedal mount later or purchase them separately?

Yes. The 2nd level riser and the pedal mounts attach with Velcro, so you can add one at a later time. Keep in mind that your pedalboard/case must have (at least) the standard 5.5" lid height to accommodate a 2nd level. You can purchase them separately here.

Can the cases be checked as baggage on an airplane?

It is not recommended.

Is there any way to attach the pedals other than Velcro?

Velcro has become the standard method for attaching pedals to pedalboards, and it is my opinion that there is really no better way. For those that just don't want to put Velcro on their pedals, you can custom order extra thick foam in the lid, and the foam will help hold the pedals in place.
